We had a wonderful time here, the host Daniele was very friendly and knowledgeable. You could feel his pride, his joy when the net rose up out of the water and revealed mother nature's bounty. Lovely 3 hours spent kayaking around the lagoon and the beautiful river Stella. It was an idyllic trip and Daniele was a very informative tour guide who spoke English very well, thank you!! We will never forget this trip!!

What a lovely few hours we spent in Daniele's company, kayaking around the lagoon, enjoying the serenity of the place and his knowledgeable descriptions of the history and the wildlife of the area. Back to the 'bliancia' (a large square net suspended above the enchanting Stella river which is lowered into the water to fish) to try 'frittolin', expertly prepared whitebait. Never has fish tasted so good or been so fresh. Daniele encourages his guests to bring a picnic lunch because the fish (if he is able to catch any) is really just a little starter. This is a great place to get away from it all, step back in time and do something really different. And if your Italian or Friulano isn't up to it, Daniele speaks good English. Highly recommended.…
