Easy parking, educational, $1 donation per person?!?! Wonderful! Enjoy the view of the mountains outside, and visit the neighbor museum house "Casa Canales". Very hot in the summer I was told!

Just looking at the area and then the Cemi is like been back to the Taino's era. Wonderful areas to walk and feel in contact with mother nature. Staff who guide us around very polite and friendly. Nice place.💙💙

Museo El Cemi is a great place to visit only if you are in the area and planning to visit other local attractions. The museum could be seen in 30-60 minutes. Please, take precaution with mosquitos, specially if you are sensitive to mosquitos or insect bites. The cost is minimal and there are several good places for lunch close by.

It's approximately 1:30 min from the SJU Airport area and you can see it in 1 hr (park and small museum) plus 30 min video. It's definitely worth visiting, but I recommend you also visit another attraction like Cueva Ventana, eat late lunch in Lago Dos Bocas o an Adventure in Rio Tanama so you can maximize the travel time.

Beautiful place with indian historical materials. It's a very instructive site to go with all members of the family. And you can take pictures too

For a small entrance fee, you get to see artifacts from the Taino Indians from the area. This quirky building only takes about 30 minutes to go through.

We had to stop at the museum because when I was looking at things to do in Jayuya this picture was everywhere. The outside is cool. The museum was closed but we knew someone who worked there and they came and opened it up. It is small inside, not much to it. But there are some neat pieces of history... More

Had the pleasure of going this past weekend as a camping trip for the boy scouts and It was closed during the time I was there. It has visit hours and cost $0.50 the entrance. Good to take pictures outside, the Cemi is enormous. It has Casa Canales museum among side and a restaurant in front of them. The staff... More
