This parc offers a beautiful landscape and is very suitable for walking tours. Stay on the roads before you get lost and be aware of the fact that the wooden walking tracks have some weak spots.

My family and I spent several hours walking in this beautiful landscape. Actually we spent at least an hour longer than we had expected to because we got lost! I had planned a long walk, based roughly on a tourist information walk, taking in the best of the Fens and walking through the forest, unfortunately there were a number of... More

Les fagnes and the wood around are of exceptional beauty. You can make long walks over wood covered tracks or a more relaxing short walk. Do not forget to go to Solwaster and the famous "La Hoegne".

One of the best places to walk and relax - several nice spots to enjoy the beauty of the rich variety of the Hautes Fagnes. If possible, I recommend to do some bare-foot walking on the fagnes.

Large and wild nature reserve in a stunning region; beautiful in every season! One of the few places in Belgium where you can walk for hours and hours without meeting people, especially in the enourmous surrounding forests and countless river valleys that descend from the plateau...highly recommended!

Yes, dogs are not allowed in the nature reseve. Do dog owners care? Of course not, every 50-100m there are turds on the walkway. The walkway is max. 50cm wide, so you end up only looking where to put your feet, and not at the scenery. Honestly, with an attitude like this, the whole planet is going to the dogs!

About 3 km from the information center you can walk on the bog. Offcourse on boardwalks, but a great Experience. The boardwalks a 3 km long. The restaurant where you can start or finish has great waffles!

There was a lot of snow, we liked the walk at the Botrange. The snow was not plenty enough to sleigh.

Beautiful view from the top, I did not expect it, Just 15 minutes drive from Verviers, 45 from Liege. It's very wild and natural. It was very windy and cold on that day with morning freeze on the grass and lazy sun. Certainly excellent in summer. The top of Belgium. Something to see if you stay around. And look at... More

This incredible landscape formed on top of the Venn after the last ice age. Growing by about 1mm a year it is estimated that it is about 7500 years old. Walking through this landscape it becomes easy to imagine what it must have been like for people in the stone age to wander through endless landscapes in search of a... More
