You go back 700 years in time when you visit this crypt. The venue is well looked after and the descriptions are in Italian and in English. Language wise the English is quite good which isn't always true in Italy. The frescoes have suffered due...More

The floor is original laid by the Cosmati family; the frescoes are vibrant and interesting. You need to time your entry to maximize the 20 minutes' lighting each half hour.

Well worth a visit, it's full of treasures and interesting info. We were the only people visiting and we did not feel rushed and felt the ticket price was justified
