Awesum coffee shop with super friendly owners. There's so many goodies one can buy, books and DVD's to rent or buy. It's an Internet cafe where you can relax and browse.

A wonderful snug where one can relax, browse and sort one's online business in comfort and in friendly company. Some unique, useful and wonderfully nostalgic goodies to purchase too, not to mention the yummy cakes!

If you like browsing bookshops for new or very good quality second hand books, this is the place. If you like a well organised, well kept, bookshop and café, this is the place. If you're looking for a gift or card, this is the place. If you like good coffee and home-made cakes, this is the place. If you need... More

We have been customers of Andrew and T-anne almost from the beginning and really enjoy our visits there. T-anne's cakes are excellent and they now serve a variety of coffees which are not available in French cafes. We are returning to the UK in April after 13 years in France and Christies is one of the things we shall miss!!!

A lovely bookshop and cafe, with free wifi and internet access on the cafe's computers. With both new and second hand books, mostly English, its a boon to ex-pat's and visitors alike. The cakes are homemade and delicious, very difficult to resist.

The variety on offer in this teashop, gift shop, bookshop and internet cafe met the needs of our family very well. The 11 year old twins found books to read for the couple of rainy days we had and we all enjoyed the cakes. It seemed strange to buy English greeting cards in France, but the quality and variety were... More

We discovered this wonderful internet cafe in Gencay at the direction of family members. Finding somewhere with WIFI access, tea, coffee and other hot and cold drinks, a delicious range of cakes and vast selection of books in the local region was brilliant. Great for working whilst on holiday (when necessary), or just catching up on emails. The clientele is... More

This is aimed more for people living in the area who require a little bit of England in France. It sells a lot of English second hand books, tea, cakes & Knicks nacs. It is handy should you require Wi Fi. Unless you can not live without a British cup of tea not worth the visit.
