Really enjoyed a visit to La Mer de Sable, a sort of Wild West themed park with an amazing sea of sand landscape feature. Plenty of roller coasters and rides to thrill and scare, some great quirky wild west streets and saloon type buildings. Plenty...More

Family day out with two children aged 10 & 13. Excellent value and no queues for the rides. Plenty of places to eat and drink, and a very good horse display. Check for opening times before your visit.

Not just this tour, but in general where would be the best places in the Picardy region for a handicap person to go. Can a wheel chair be rented? Unable to walk long distances and standing is not good. My ancestor stated he was from Picardy, France. He came twice to America. First as a soldier under Lafeyette and the second time to live. I am sure his name is too typical to research (Ceasar Duval), but perhaps there are list of soldiers who came with Lafetette. What language should I know. I saw where Picard was a language in this area. Or would basic French be understood? I want to study it before I come. I will e staying in Paris because my daughter in law's aunt lives there and has for over 30 years. Distance wise is it possible to travel and return in a day? Or will hotels be necessary and what is the rate approximately? Is there a genealogical society there and a special archives? Thank you, Hope O. Creasman
