Fun swimming at the lovely Karon Beach.
Love this area. It wasn't crowded at all though this time of year it is very hot so maybe not as many visitors to the region. Great stores to shop for sarongs and pashmina. Plenty of eateries, lots of colour and noise.

A covid vacation on a pleasant beach
We wanted to see the beach during covid and chose Karon Beach, Few tourists as this was during covid. We were there Nov 2020. All the people in town at the shops were very kind and happy we chose their town to visit. Few restaurants were open so we ate at the same place all the time. I would like to visit again when more tourists are around.

    Great holiday centre
Lovely beach and water, we snorkelled at the bottom end, by the rocks and it’s fascinating. Great for sunset swim. Plenty of boat/ski activities but also easy to avoid. I did ponder on the pipe, water source entering the bay, but no apparent impact on water quality. Coming from UK it’s something on our minds. Plenty of eating near to the beach, the live music in so many bars is fun. Karon is understandably busy but still enjoyable. Watch out for road crossings, larger vehicles will stop, scooters speed up the inside oblivious.

    Karon Beach
Wide, Long Beach. Many umbrellas, but still sweltering on sand. Best to be in shade of trees, but then it is filthy . Unfortunately many leave their trash and cigarette butts, so not too pretty. Water is warm but on our visit, full of jellyfish. No thanks.

Lovely relaxing beach to enjoy a massage and watch the sunset on
We enjoyed a couple of hours on this beach from late afternoon till sunset. Paid 200baht per pair of sunbeds, and there was a stall behind us selling smoothies, sitting drinks and beers. Also, a tent doing massages on the beach and all four of us adults enjoyed an hr massage each for around 400-500 baht depending know massage type. The beach wasn't at all crowded, and we enjoyed watching the sun go down, being able to take some pics without fighting for space.

    Amazing
What a beautiful beach. The sunset is amazing. We enjoyed our day on the beach with the white sand and calm water. The beach chair and umbrella was very cheap to rent and the drinks you can buy at the beach is also affordable. A must visit when in Phuket.

Lovely beach, better than Patong beach.
Lovely, peaceful atmosphere, plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas to be used. 100bhat for the umbrella and 100bhat per sun lounger is what we paid. Plenty of 7elevens just over the road to grab drinks and refreshments. Not busy, but not quiet - just a nice atmosphere. Unlike patong beach which is pretty overwhelming.

    Expecting more
We had been looking at this beach from a far all day from different high viewpoints in Phuket. With how green the water looked from a far I thought that it would be turquoise water when we got there. It wasnt. There are no facilities(showers or bathrooms) that we could see. We set up at the far left if looking at the water where the sun chairs are at to rent. 4 chairs and 2 umbrellas was 400 baht. The sand was extremely hot, so bring some water shoes. The water was like bathtub temps. I could see where that would seem nice, but we were hoping for a cooler dip based off the heat outside. The water color up close was nothing to write home about.

    Jellyfish jellyfish all around...
Good beach with too many jellyfish 🪼 which makes it difficult to swim in. Me & my kid ended up swimming in the hotel pool! Of course much better than patong, but overall pretty average. May be, this month (March) is jellyfish season as one of our guide said that jellyfish come out in summers more than in winters..not sure..but pls plan carefully!

Great beach, powder sands and awesome waters
Spent a couple weeks here with family. Stayed in hotel , 5 minute walk to north side of beach.. We loved this beach, the powder sugary like sands are awesome. Sands do get hot so if off surf lines you’ll need sandals. Beach chairs with umbrella set ups are great and plentiful, cost only 200 baht a day for two chairs and anchored umbrella.. lots of sun and heat here, cover is necessity. During our stay, surf was low to moderate in a few days, great swimming, water fun here. Great snorkelling as well in this end to north shore lines.. Easy walk from here to food and convenience stores.. cabs and tuk tuks nearby. This beach has lots of water activities available for fees as well. We found it quiet, clean and comfortable. Not one issue with annoying music or intrusions. Found this beach way superior to Patong where we stayed prior.

Spectacular water. Only a rare medusa to threaten the bliss. Few people. 3 km of beach to walk - or swim. Things to do like parachute rides, etc...
