    Fabulous experience
Finding details about tour times was difficult so we just showed up. It’s really not near a whole lot but gps and road signage got us there. There was only a German and French tour but we were game and it didn’t disappoint. The guide was great and the grottos are beyond cool. There is a lot of walking, many stairs and it is muddy and slippery. Wear shoes with tread and be prepared. The highlight of our Sardinian trip so far.

    Cave Tour
Incredible tour, beautiful cave, the tour guide gave so much great information and was lovely to chat to, languages picked are based on tourguide and amount of people we had english and italian. Place was easy to find, next to a restaurant of the same name, we didnt eat there but looked good. Arrived in between tours so waiting (tour times 12 and 2), tickets 12euros. Tour lasts 1-1:30 hours. Theres a nice picnic spot if you keep walking up. Also should visit the honey hut next to the cave tour. It gets cold and humid in the cave but if youre from a cold country its fine (managed it in a mini dress and sandals).

    Great experience with young kids
Great escape from the sun, 1,5 hour easy walk (with young kids) down into the cave, , lovely informative and funny guide (judith). Restaurant to relax before and after the walk. Cool temperature of 10c in de cave. Take a sweater with you. Just a nice switch from the beaches and sun.

I’m sure the cave itself is lovely but we had a horrible experience here today. Our sat nav took us on a wild adventure to find the cave which meant we arrived later than planned and between the times of two guided tours. We purchased our tickets which were €12 per person expecting to have to wait until the next tour time which was an hour and a half away. We didn’t mind waiting, but we were delighted to be told they were happy for us to explore the cave in our own time if we didn’t mind not having a guide. So, we were given a few facts about the cave and off we went. Be prepared for a fair climb up some steps to reach the cave but there are many stopping points if you need to catch your breath. The cave itself is lovely and was lit to show you the stunning surfaces and spectacles inside. However, we’d only got around halfway when we came across the earlier tour group and the tour guide started questioning us, demanded to see our tickets and, even upon showing them to her and relaying the information from her colleague at the ticket desk, processed to make us exit the cave. The way she spoke to us made us feel as though we’d done something wrong. So, when we reached the ticket office again my husband went inside with her to speak with the colleague who had given us permission to go into the cave. The lady at the ticket office confirmed that she’d given us permission and couldn’t understand why the tour guide made us leave. We asked if we could have a partial refund given we didn’t see the whole cave and the tour guide said no. The whole experience made us feel really uncomfortable which is a shame as I’m sure we’d have loved the attraction otherwise. They did offer for us to then join the next tour group but we didn’t feel comfortable accepting after the way we’d been treated by the tour guide who would have been running the next tour as well.

It was a spontaneous visit for us and we did not regret it. Fabulous caves created by Mother Nature. Couple of things to note: the tour starts at around 11am, another at 1pm so try to get there on time, we missed 11am tour so we had to wait until 1pm. If you'd like to make good pictures, bring a tripod, flash photography is nor permitted.

Firstly, even with google maps, it was difficult to find. There is no website in English. Double check for English tour as we went at 2pm and the tour guide spoke Italian and German.
Wear sensible shoes, something with grip as the cave floors are very slippery. The walk to the caves was hard work with the heat. Also there is no easy access once the tour is complete. You have to retrace your steps all the way. There are some strange rock formation but nothing outstanding.
Lastly, we had a snack at the cafe/restaurant on site, just a couple of panini’s, but there bread was very dry. No oil, butter or mayonnaise, salad on the bread.
All in all, waste of time and money

We never went to a cave before, so today we visited the cave of Su Marmuri and both of us were absolute stunning. The guide was passionate and absolutely well known about the details of the cave. We enjoyed it how he speaks about his “playground” and learns us about caves in general. The tour was about 1h30min, inside the temperature is going down to about 10 degrees. So, it’s absolute fresh and I suggest to bring a coat. The stairs are slippery so we also suggest to wear real shoes. Once you are inside the cave, Watch to the spectacular nature, listen to the guide and enjoy the your!

Some details: tour costs adult 12 euro. At least 4 people for the tour. Call them before you go there they have times for the tour I don’t know them all but 16:00 and 18:00 o’clock for sure. 18:00 o’clock is the last tour of the day

Currently the cave is open 3 times per day, there are different language options available but not all of them every day so make sure to check in advance. The entry fee is 12 euros, the walk takes about 1h or so. The cave is really impressive so pack some warm clothes and go there.

Great 90 minutes excursion into this cave!
This was a guided tour and the tourguide stopped and waited for all visitors to come together before he explained the places/details in Italian, English and French language. Interesting was, that it took him longest in Italian, English was a bit shorter and French was shortest at each of the stops we made during the walk through this cave. From what I could catch in all languages, I got the impression that he even skipped one or the other detail in English and French.
But nevertheless, the information he shared was a lot and detailed.
The cave entry fee was 12 Euro per person. Definitively worth the money!
On the way through the cave we walked on the ground (soil), had to use stairs or walked on metal walkways. Sometimes a bit slippery but always with handrails where required.
The deeper we got into that cave the colder it felt. So, when you visit during summer-time with sandals, shorts and T-shirts...well, you might get cold. So Sneakers and a sweater would be more appropriate. Actually I was one of a few who walked in wearing tracking sandals, shorts and T-Shirt. I could stand it but was happy, when we returned and the heat and sunlight warmed me up again.

It is quite a drive up into the mountains, but the views are wonderful, and the cave experience is absolutely exceptional. One of the largest cave systems in Europe, formed millions of years ago as the "mountains" gradually rose from under the sea, the amazingly huge and colourful stalactites are still dripping and growing. Our multilingual guide Antonio was excellent - so knowledgeable and passionate about the caves, and provided detailed and amusing information all along the nearly 2 hour tour.
Deep inside the caves you really begin to feel the "majesty" of ancient nature.
Be aware - there is quite a climb up to the entrance of the cave, then a sep climb down, and within the caves it is very slippery and only 10°C, so bring sturdy walking shoes and a warm top. The Bar Restaurant outside the caves provides good food & refreshments and toilet facilities. It would be sensible to phone in advance to check the times of the tours in various languages.

We were skeptical about spending some time in a cave when the weather outside was so nice, but... how good we did it! This cave is remarkable. Our guide was very enthusiastic and telling interesting stories.
Dress warm and take shoes that are not slipping easily.
