U Kon Da La has eyes shine like stars and he could make me feel peaceful without saying much. (Couldnt find this monastery on Google Maps and my hotel staffs didnt know it, either. But luckily iphone maps got it.)

If you are in Burma (Myanmar) do not miss this place. It has unforgetable atmosphere ans it is something you will not see in any other country. Go between November and March to have the best weather conditions

Beautiful teak wood monastery! Worth the short ride on your rented bicycle or with a Tuk-Tuk. You will love to spend some time here, a great place to meditate and admire the beauty of the Monastery!
