What a perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon, especially after lockdown. From the warm welcome by Rachel, the knowledgeable service of the 7 wines for tasting, with a tasty cheese platter, to the purchasing of the wines from owner Emma, the whole experience is amazing. The view is incredible, you can bring your dog (George and Angus the resident dogs may say hello to your dog), the ambience and service is wonderful. And the main event - the wines - are so worth the drive into the Megalong Valley. The Chardonnay and Shiraz are our favourites and we are excited to try their different styles, like the Barbera and Tempranillo. Highly recommend making a booking!

We stayed in the Blue Mountains for the weekend and ended up going for a drive into the Megalong Valley. Went to Dryridge estate for wine tasting and a cheese & charcuterie plate. Absolutely amazing. Beautiful couple who run this place and make you feel so welcome you’re at home. Delicious wines and food. We visited only a few days after huge amounts of rain and flooding but the route was clear and we had no problems getting to the winery. Can’t wait to come back here again.

My wife & I went on a day trip after booking a Wine Tasting with Cheese at the Dryridge Estate. We found the staff were very friendly & the service was great, we tasted both White & Red wines while having a cheese platter. The tasting was held at the cafe with a view of the valley from our table. There is also accomodation available. We enjoyed the experience immensely, we will certainly return in the future.

We were only able to do the wine tasting as a “flight” and it was served during our lunch. As I am in to wine I prefer to select the wines I would like to taste rather then having to taste from top to bottom of the list. In addition I think $15 for the tasting, without any apparent knowledge of the wine by the server, was very expensive especially as the pour was very small, barely enough for a second mouthful which is when I appreciate the wine more than on the first mouthful. I would also have preferred for the tasting to happen quicker, rather than take all of lunch, so I could have chosen a full glass to enjoy with the food.
The ploughman plate was supposed to feed 4 however we finished it easily between 3 people and we are not big eaters. The grapes were not fresh, bread was also well below expected.
However the view from the terrace was stunning.
In contrat I was able to taste the two wine I wanted to at the cellar door next door

Great views of the mountains, vineyard and lovely customer service. Could sit there all day! A couple of friendly dogs which was a charming touch.
We ordered the Ploughman’s lunch platter for 4 and a nice bottle of wine. Perfect way to spend a relaxing weekend. It is a bit of a narrow windy drive to get in and the restaurant may not be entirely wheelchair accessible or elderly friendly. Best to book on the weekends so you can get a table outside.

We drove from Katoomba to Dryridge Estate in the Megalong Valley. The scenery along the road was an experience in itself.
The winery id located on a ridge with great valley views, it was a joy sitting down with a cheese and meats platter sipping the estates wines. With Covid-19 restrictions, we were all seated with some separation to the adjoining tables.
The experience was memorable and the wines excellent.
This is truely a relaxing experience!

What a top spot. If you are a couple or a group put this place on your bucket list.

We have been popping in for the last 4 years and the owners Emma and Simon have turned this place in to a world class venue. They have expanded the capacity but kept the view the same .

It is totally gorgeous and worth the trip down into the Megalong Valley ( 25 mins from Black heath)

Be prepared to be wowed by the beautiful location and if you strike a sunny day , you will have thought that you have died and gone to heaven. Its sooo worth a visit.

Beautiful wines, lovely cheese platers and chilled out atmosphere. Stunning!

The Megalong is an area we had always meant to visit. We were staying at Leura and went for a drive - what a great idea!

Superb scenery all the way in and also at Dryridge. An outdoor tasting area with seating, views and heating. The food was basic but excellent and substantial. The wines were also excellent. And the service - a step above excellent!! Warm, friendly, knowledgeable, attentive.

We would recommend Dryridge to anyone - well worth the trip.

Hubby booked this as a surprise, what a lovely afternoon.
Had the wine tasting of 7 wines, what an amazing experience.
Ordered the ploughman lunch for 2, accompanied with the wine it was just perfect.
We had a lovely table and the view is amazing. We left with some additional bottles of wine.
Highly recommend

Perfect setting, lovely service, great wine - what more could we ask for? The views are stunning! Sitting outside on a sunny Sunday afternoon post-lockdown, with 7 great wines to try and lovely cheese platter to soak them up. Nice to be able to bring the pooch, it was her first wine tasting. Of course exiting through the gift shop is all part of the experience - Chardonnay and Shiraz in the boot and took a gamble on the Barbara that we didn't have the opportunity to try. Highly recommend making a booking for a tasting.
