Went here with my wife and two children (5 & 3). As someone who has been to such caves before (israel, china) i found this one disappointing.

The Black Forest area of Germany is not an area that has may caves so on seeing this one I had to visit. There is plenty of parking with toilet and catering facility available (also a shop selling souvenirs). As well as inside and outside...More

Beautiful cave to visit. Loads of information, well maintained. Lot of history in it. Narration is in German and English. Little acrobatics required to manoeuvre inside the cave, but worth it.

This cave system is certainly not one of the real 'grand' ones as far as size and extent goes, but the stalactites and stalacmites are really awesome and beautiful to see, and the guided tour is well done. This is a place well worth visiting...More
