About
Come and experience one of the most beautiful valleys in southern Spain, with miles of views from our terrace. I offer coffee and snacks and organise tasting of olive oil and our various honeys. You will hear the story of the organic farm, how I work to give life to both the village and lots of animals and much more. The farm tour then gives you the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about irrigation systems, the history of the area, tropical fruits, etc. I grow six different types of avocado, lots of different types of citrus, almonds, olives, figs, carob, various stone fruits, etc. The cultivation is completely organic and I also try to create a rich bird life by building bird posts, constructing water ponds etc. The farm is also home to a number of found dogs and cats. They are happy to help guide visitors around the farm.

- Joakim E5 contributionsAn experience out of the ordinary!I can really recommend a guided tour at Finca Solmark. The organic cultivation of above all avocados is located in a magnificent environment, beautifully in a valley between the mountains. We got a very interesting tour of the farm. There is no doubt that the guide himself (Pelle the owner) is really passionate about organic farming and questions related to our nature and soil. We took the opportunity to have an authentic Andalusian lunch up in the picturesque village of Carratracka. A visit to Pelle on his pocket is highly recommended. Very affordable.Tack för besök och trevlig samvaro. Kul att ni gillade både gården och besöket i byn. Välkomna åter! mvh PelleWritten 23 July 2024This response is the subjective opinion of the management representative and not of Tripadvisor LLC.Visited May 2024Travelled with friendsWritten 6 June 2024
- Rickard R1 contributionFull bucket list in a quiet environmentA wonderful paradise with a view out of the ordinary. A good chance to really be there where the fruit grows. See how things are done on the farm while Pelle enthusiastically describes various processes and events. I really want to go there again soon and see how everything changes. It is growing so fast that buildings and fabulous old houses are being renovated left and right. Full of life in a quiet environment that I warmly recommend everyone to visit.Visited July 2023Travelled soloWritten 6 June 2024
- Eva VBastad, Sweden10 contributionsDay trip with a viewPelle and his team have created a unique place where even the smallest insects have their own boutique hotel! The very best avocados and the sweetest oranges come from here. We received a personal and very warm welcome! Don't leave the Costa del Sol without a visit to Finca Solmark ❤️ And the best of all is that I can order avocados and fruit from Finca Solmark when we get home to Sweden!!Visited April 2024Travelled with familyWritten 6 June 2024
- Jan SAndalucia, Spain1 contributionGreat example of sustainable & organic farming!I have visited Finca Solmark several times and there will be more. It strikes me every time how little I know and how incredibly much Pelle knows. I learn a lot of new things every time. As the world and the climate look today, it is more important than ever that some must lead the development of sustainable and organic cultivations and Finca Solmark is a uniquely good example. By visiting the place, people always leave full of wisdom, insights, inspiration and a longing for pure and genuine fruits, honey, olive oil, nuts and to some extent vegetables. There is hope for a better world - "Pelle" believes so 😉! Etc./ Jan SjögrenVisited March 2024Travelled with familyWritten 6 June 2024

- Robin T1 contributionHighlight of the entire tripI happened to stumble across this farm while looking for things to do in the area, but it became a highlight of our trip. The host speaks fluent English, Spanish and Swedish and was very knowledgable. His enthusiasm about what he has been able to accomplish there was contagious. The visit of the farm started with local honey and fresh fruit tasting and ended with a guided tour of the property. I would recommend a visit to everyone in the general area and groups of all ages, a must-see for avocado fans!Visited August 2024Travelled with friendsWritten 26 August 2024

Almost 4 years ago, my friend Jocke and I visited Pelle Lundborg's fantastic paradise and creation. We thought we would stay for an hour or so but stayed for 5 hours. It was very exciting to hear about Pelle's journey, partly as an entrepreneur in gaming but above all what his ambitions are and have been for Finca Solmark. Pelle is now a good friend and since my first visit to Pelle and Irene at Finca Solmark, I have brought friends I visited up there and they are all lyrical and fascinated by the environment, the views and, not least, Pelle's committed narration of how he built this paradise from scratch. Then I've also been lucky enough to try Irene's fantastic food a few times, which is something out of the ordinary. Can warmly recommend a visit to this Swedish/Spanish paradise.

Absolutely wonderful place just outside Malaga in the countryside at the small village Carratraca. The farm is run by Pelle Lundborg who is not only good at organic farming but is also a very nice and service-oriented person. We got a great guided tour around the farm and learned a lot new things. Ended with a good coffee at the guesthouse with incredible views of the gardens. Highly recommended.
