Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This was a lovely afternoon spent with 6 other women who were friends from New York & the Carolina’s. We became fast friends
as well. The dinner was very good and wine was scrumptious.
Both my husband and i had fun and would
recommend.

We had a lovely authentic dinner at the home of the winemaker. The tour guide was very respectful of the differing dietary needs of the very diverse tour audience(10) of us. The meal was very good( I am picky), as was the wine . I am really happy with this excursion. It was fun!

Chocolate and wine, followed by a visit to a couple of wineries and a home cooked dinner all locally sourced. After the wine and chocolate you are treated to a home cooked meal at a family's kitchen table. It was excellent, well worth a visit.

We were treated to a fantastic 3 course home cooked meal at EtyekM. The Chef chose locally sourced ingredients that were in season. We also tried a sparkling wine, a red wine and a white wine here. And while the good food and wine is enough for a five star rating, what blew us away was the hospitality and warmth we received at EtyekM. As visitors to Hungary, this was one of the highlights of our trip.

This was our last stop on our wine tour and what a perfect way to end the day. Our hosts were so gracious and inviting. We sat together with our other tour members and dined on traditional Hungarian food. Things I would not have ordered in a restaurant simply not knowing what they were. Everything tasted amazing! The setting was beautiful. Charming place and great people. Highly recommend.

First of all I booked this tour through Viator and it included a visit to three local wineries the last of which provided the best roasted chicken dinner I have ever eaten ( no kidding, that good). What made this excursion so memorable was our tour guide Danish ( "call me Dennis I'm tired of the jokes "). He was knowledgeable about vineyards, how wine was made, etc, but what really set him apart was his engaging manner and his great sense of humor. He took what could have been a ho-hum excursion (rained the entire time) and turned into one I shall not soon forget. On top of it all he is only 26.
What a great day. Hope you get to share his experience.

Remember ask for Dennis!!!!!!!!!

We came across this using tripadvisor, and were pleasantly suprised. It is a lovely 'restaurant' in which you are prepared a four course meal, with wine to accompany each course. As a vegetarian, they were able to accomodate my needs with 3 courses, and it was delicious. To book, we sent a facebook message to the staff, and everything else was prepared. Very friendly staff, who spoke wonderful English and a super friendly dog wandering around the dining area.

This is a special place. When you combine a home dining experience with great cousine, hospitality and live music, the cocktail is just magic. Only if you know the place and the owners you will end up at Etyekm, and we were so lucky to be with an Hungarian colleague who knew them well and gave us this unique experience. I cannot recommend any specific food or wine...just go there and enjoy the evening, letting the owners pampering you.

Stopped over to taste wines and eat and it turned out that evening was a scheduled Spanish/Hungarian folk performance featuring Evelin! We were left speechless by the beauty of her music, and the delicious wine and home cooking made it a special evening.

We insisted on buying a young wine that hadn't been labeled yet, and they even sealed it for us on the spot. Can't recommend it enough - get out to Etyek and enjoy the wines and wonderful people.

We had a wine tour in Etyek that ended in EtyekM. The wine tour was the highlight of our trip! We got to taste many young and fresh quality wines. Food in EtyekM was great traditional Hungarian goulash soup and the atmosphere was very welcoming and felt like an evening spent with good friends at the backyard.
