Given the visit as a gift, the tour and wine tasting was informative and enjoyable. The tasting began during a talk, before walking among the vines and continued amongst them. The glass was then boxed for us to take home. The White wines and Rose'...More

If you can’t get into the Hare & Hounds at Aberthin book for a later date. In the meantime though come here. The food shares the quality, appearance and novelty found at the Hare. Similarly low key service shouldn’t detract from food that in appearance...More

Recently went here for a tour and it is fun, the wine is nice and the story is interesting. After the tour we then went for some food and drinks in the bar which was enjoyable in the sun.

The format of the tour is original. A short history of the vinetard from its days as a farm, then a glass of wine to taste. Next a trip round the vines with a glass in hand while the varieties of grape and the pruning...More

Probably down to our wrong expectations but we visited recently expecting it to be as much a wine-based attraction as well as a restaurant and hotel. We wanted to find out more about the wine, look at the vineyard and hopefully try a tasting or...More

I didn't stay at the hotel so cannot comment it. However, the so called wine tasting was nothing short of the bad joke. Neither of 3 white wines we've been offered were drinkable while the red one was a real miscarriage. Even the girl who...More
