If you manage to get a parking space this is a lovely stretch of coastline to watch the world go by.

We were staying at the quayside hotel, breakfast was sat looking over the estuary at the beginning of Storm Doris. As we believe there is no such thing as bad weather only bad clothing we headed out. What a treat we had, the views were stunning, the beach was deserted, the sand was firm and a joy to walk on.... More

We feel very lucky to have moved to Deganwy where we can walk over the footbridge and be on the coastal path. Either to walk to North Shore one way or Conwy the other. Along the path to North Shore there are sandy beaches where you could picnic on a nice day or walk your dog in the beach. The... More

We had an excellent time here on a sunny October afternoon. With two kids in tow we walked over to Llandudno and after some lunch sauntered back again. You can either walk along the path which is great for bikes or pushchairs... or down on he beach itself which is a mixture of sand in places and rocks. The children... More

We stayed here for a couple of days and managed to enjoy a couple of sunny days. The beach was prestine... I just wished I had taken a camera!

The walk from West Shore down along to Deganwy is so delightful, especially when the tide is out. So many different colours and textures. We witnessed quite a phenomenon as the tide was rushing in. Hundreds of seagulls began to congregate and attack the water. Some locals explained that they were after the whitebait which had been chased in by... More

Right on the doorstep of out cottage. It caters for everyone. Nice shallows to paddle in. Dog friendly and a proper sun trap. Keep going back daily and not bored yet. The tide always brings something different to see.

Had a nice couple of hours on this beach - as others have said, the top is rocky and the sand is at the waters edge. Plenty of shells for the kids to pick up and they had a nice paddle in the water. There is lots of grass behind and i dont recall a road so all in all... More
