I have visited the Heritage Centre several times and enjoyed the permanent collection of local history and the Christmas festivities and if you fancy afternoon tea on top of your visit the tea room provides a quaint and interesting place to top up your energy...More

If you want a nice relaxing cup of tea in lovely surroundings then look no futher than here , in the famous blue town of sheerness its a gem

Interesting exhibits of when Sheppey and Sheerness were nationally important places due to the command of the Thames Estuary and the first aeroplane flights.

We have just held a big celebration golden anniversary party at the heritage center. Wow an amazing place full of history of the isle of Shelley. Perfect venue and Jenny and volunteers couldn't be more helpful. Definitely worth a look & take in a film.

Yes they have maps , documents and all kinds of reference material . Ideal for what you need . May be give them an email or a phone call before hand . They are volunteers but very dedicated and helpful !

plenty, free parking, and on the flat too! Try the cream tea as well!
