Just the right distance to make it all the way around , with or without an ice-cream, flat and wheelchair accessible .

The lake is used by windsurfers and there is a path between the lake and the sea accesible at low tide. The path is little bit slipery but it was a pleasant windy walk.

West Kirby Marine Lake is a great place to visit, and walk around. It only takes about 20 minutes to walk around it’s perimeter. Lovely in all weathers with views over to Hilbre island and North Wales.

It is under a mile. My father did it on his mobility scooter - with the tide coming in and lapping on its wheels, that is not recommended...

You can take it on the lake at West Kirby but would have to be from the north end (Wirral Sailing Centre) unless you approach WKSC for membership. Or you can go on the Dee Estuary from the slipway at the south end when the... More

yes you can take boats on the lake the are 2 Clubs on the lake one privet and also a council run Club that teaches.
