The beach is just amazing with vast sand side for the kids to enjoy and a small artificial lake made out of sea tides water. Good place for a family getaway for a day.

West Kirby beach offers interesting walks out to Hilbre Island, where seals can be seen basking on sandbanks at low tide. Check safe tide times to walk out before you go. Another interesting stroll is the coastal walk to Red Rocks, in Hoylake, which passes...More

Just like beaches always used to be (at least in the memory!) - just try and avoid Bank Holidays or the school summer holidays, when the great unwashed and illiterate from Birkenhead show up and bring the quality level down considerably..

This is best visited in the evening in summer. Take an amble around the lake wall with children to look for crabs and it’s great fun. The sunsets are often spectacular and you can watch windsurfing and yachting

I would have thought so as you are completely on sand obviously removing any litter afterwards. Check beach signs. Enjoy.
