These ruins are all that was left from the church. It was allmost completely destroyed during the First World War. Then rebuilt during the first period of freedom of Latvia then during Soviet occupation the church was abandoned and raided numerous time, leaving nothing but...More

The pieces of the old altar of St. George church existed from the beginning of the 14th to the middle of the 20th century. The ruins has signs of the Romanesque and Gothic style.
