Never miss the opportunity of going to Apo Island when visiting Dumaguete. Cost is relatively cheap. Even if you travel alone, you can hitch with a group on a boat ride and just share the cost. Just ask the lady at the boat dispatch center who will be very glad to accommodate guests and look for a group to fit... More

We were excited with the tour to see the turtles but for the entire trip we only got to see atleast 5 atmost? It's a good experience to see them and how majestic they are but also sad that because of poaching and people trying to sell them off as food or whatever omen they believe 80% of them are... More

This island, or rather the tourism set up on this island is beyond a joke. We came here hoping (foolishly, this is the Philippines) for an escape to nature with the possibility of seeing some turtles. What we got was a tourist driven, ecological nightmare where absolutely no respect or consideration is given to the surrounding marine biology. We arrived... More

This area was beautiful! The diving was amazing! The sand bar was visible while we were there and our non-divers went on the beach to tan for a bit. Would recommend to anyone that dives or snorkels.

The whole day was fantastic from start to finish. We went with Dumaguete Divers and the overall experience was great - thank you so much! Our guide was amazing and knew exactly where to find the turtles and Nemo fish. He was an excellent photographer too and got us some great photos. I urge everyone to go to Apo Island,... More

More life than any Caribbean reef. Water was a little cloudy when we were there with 40' visibility. Incredible diversity and LOTS of fish. Didn't see the village but looked pretty cool. If you make it to Dumaguete, take a ride over to APO island! Unforgettable!

I have visited ApoIsland everytime with many visitors, and all have had an awesome time. The corals are beautiful and I have seen at least 2 turtles on each visit. Allthe dive sites are awesome and in pristine condition. Beautiful Island. Well done to the residents for protecting it.
