We had read a bit about the garden in the Rough Guide but it didn't do it justice it was truly stunning. Location divine , views of the sea and various coves as you wander around the immaculately maintained garden. Excellent labelling of plants was really helpful as some were dormant. The cactus garden was the best we have ever... More

Lovely gardens, vast array of plants and trees. The views over looking the local beaches and sea and breath taking. The temperature was around 30 degrees when we visited and it was quite hot in the open....especially with lack of shade. Wonderful place to visit if you are visiting the area. Worth a visit and the price to get in... More

This botanical garden is wonderful - its picture-perfect setting overlooking the Mediterranean should not be missed! We went on a cloudy day, but I can only imagine how much more beautiful it is in the sunshine. There was a very extensive amount of trails throughout the various gardens, and we enjoyed spending a few hours meandering through. The castle adds... More

Wonderful position on the cliffs with views towards Llafranc. Even in November there was plenty to see.

Visited in October. The garden is incredibly interesting. Fabulous plants, trees and sculpture. We had a great couple of hours pottering and exploring the gardens and secret hidden places. Some steep paths. Amazing views.

Wonderful gardens even at a time of the year with limited colour. The setting is so spectacular, perched on rocks and land by the beautiful sea. Plants and trees very well labelled. Excellent value ticket for seniors.

Was really quiet when we visited if it had been the UK the place would have been over run. We maintained gardens undergoing some renovation but a peaceful way to pass a couple of hours. Good vale for money esp if over concession age. No cafe but vending machines for water.

Returned having visited three years ago to find the gardens just as we remembered them. A great place to spend a couple of hours. Well worth a visit!

The botanical garden of Cap Roig is great for a walk when the weather is not sunny enough for the beach; at the far end you'll be rewarded with a lovely view of the bay. Lots and lots of cactus, don't expect too many flowers. Also be warned that the path is quite steep at times and the gravel may... More
