A good place for a picnic
Jun. 2013 • Friends
La Playa de Bolarque is a good place to visit on a hot day as there's plenty of shade and there's a small beach with a lifeguard. During the summer there's an entrance fee of €6 and kayaking costs €5 per hour. (Lifejackets are provided.)

While you're kayaking you can spot turtles sunning themselves on a fallen tree and crayfish in the "turtle cave". (If you want to take your crayfish net, fishing licences are €8.50 at the Consejería de Agricultura y Medio Ambiente in Guadalajara.)

The only problem is that you need a car to get there and it's not well signposted.
