An excellent temple to visit and get blessings of Sri Mookambigai. The idol/Sri Yantra was installed by Sri Adi Sankara. The temple is situated in a picturesque location and is easily reachable from Udupi. The drive is beautiful and takes less than 2 hours.

Kollur Mookambika Temple is one of my favorite temples in south India. If you have a child with artistic inclination, specially singing or dancing, performing in the saraswathi mandapa of this temple is considered very auspicious.

Great temple to visit but a bit too much commercialized. Like VIP queue for Darshan. Went for my Daughter's Vidyarambham. All went well and was quick.
