Do not want to repeat what others have said as most of the positive reviews are true to the dot. Just adding a few more details. 1. Plan and finalise well in advance ( atleast 3 weeks before) so that you get good accommodation as choices near temple get closed soon. 2. We could get the darshan of the god... More

I have visited the temple yesterday with my family. We all went to Dharmasthala and came to Kukke for the night stay and Darshan. I was very much pleased to look at the arch, with the river flowing at the entrance of the temple. This place is definitely a must visit for all the devotees and would be adventurous to... More

I recently heard about and visited this temple. The temple was a lovely structure located in the backdrop of scenic hills. We travelled from hassan to subrahmanya. The journey took about 2.5 hrs. The roads in the ghat section were pathetic so cautious driving is a must! The temple has a wheelchair available for aged devotees, however the temple has... More

Started from Bangalore at 5am. reached temple at noon, after visiting Shravana Bhelogola. If its crowded get the Special admission ticket (Rs 100 per head). Priest literally pulls you out when you are about to see the god.

Though we have visited this temple many times every time you go there it is completely an experience of different kind. It is a pleasure just to see the gopura of the temple with the mountains and clouds behind. Very blissful temple for spiritual seekers.

Travel: We (4 members) have started from our house in Whitefield,Bangalore at 5AM on 19th Feb 2017 in our Jazz car. We took Yeshwanthpur - Visweswarapura - Hassan - Sakleshpur route. Ghat road starts after travelling some distance from Hassan. But, the actual ghat road road starts after Sakleshpur. But, we have not felt it really complex(compared to Tirupathi, Srisailam).... Astrologers in Karnataka suggest people to visit this place during their troubled times. It does provide a lot of solace. Many celebrities too come to this place. So its normally crowded. Best time to visit & pray is before 8.00am...

One of the very few temples in India, where in Puja is performed with utmost dedication. Visit this temple is a must, to ward off Rahu, Ketu or Sarpa-dosha related issues. All types of Pujas like Aslesha Bali, "Naga pratishta", SARPA Sanskara" are performed to ward of evils of all kinds. Couples desiring to conceive, all others to improve health... More

It is indeed very serene place to visit. Had darshan on saturday evening. Crowd was less and it took hardly 5 minutes to enter the main temple. Took the coupon for Prasad from Seva counter and I must say everything is well managed there. Road after Sakleshpur is horrible. Though many politicians and renowned people have visited the place, still... More
