My wife and I had an incredible experience with Meteora Photo Tour, guided by Christos and Konstantina. They provided exceptional service and knowledge, taking us to curated locations for capturing the stunning Meteora rock pillars with the diverse lighting of sunrise and sunset. After our initial morning shoot, Christos extended his expertise over breakfast to review our shots and teach us techniques to edit our photos. After the sunset shoot, he hosted us at dinner at one of his favorite family restaurants which allowed us to savor local cuisine; it is doubtful that we would have been able to find this type of restaurant with such generous hospitality on our own. The second day's trip was filled with enjoyable conversations, and the photos we made of bridges and landscapes were outstanding. My wife and I were at different skill levels and both learned a great deal which showcases Christos' diverse teaching skills. The dinners at family restaurants and the thoughtful gift of Angela's favorite wine made us feel like leaving friends. Highly recommend this tour; it's simply amazing! Their iPhone camera tips, composition, and editing suggestions were invaluable.

We spent a wonderful day with Christos and Konstantina on a beautiful sunny October day.
They passionately shared with us their knowledge of the region and the best photo spots. The icing on the cake was that we had a very pleasant lunch in their company and visited a small museum dedicated to photography of the region dating from 1929. Incredible to see the evolution of the monasteries in almost 100 years.
Not shy of advice and attentive, Kristos guided us step by step to improve shooting techniques. Thanks to them.
We highly recommend.

This place is absolutely amazing! Truly.

My wife and I started our 3 week tour of Greece with this two day photo tour of Meteora with our hosts, Chris & Konstantina. They were the best hosts ever. Both very friendly and full of information.

Konstantina met us when we arrived and made sure we were settled in our hotel; the very nice Storyteller Hotel. Later they took us out for sunset shots of the amazing Meteora area. Then they took us out to dinner at a local area. As dinner companions they were wonderful, with an extensive knowledge of the area as well as just being awesome company.

The following morning Cris met us for a chilly morning sunrise tour of the area. Providing us with hot coffee for the chilly daybreak; having backup warm outerwear for those who forgot to wear a sweatshirt (like me!); and having an amazing knowledge of photographic technique, (regardless of your level of expertise) are some of the things that separate this couple from the rest out there. Chris helped me with my 35mm camera and had some great instruction for my wife’s iPhone camera. Those phones take some amazing pics!

If you want a great photographic tour of this spectacular area, book this tour. This couple really know what they’re doing. And since Chris actually grew up in the area, he drove us to places and shot sites that we would NEVER have been able to find on our own - even with GPS!

Book this tour and you will absolutely NOT regret it. It is worth every cent.

I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to photograph Meteora. The guides, Christos and Konstantina, picked me up and since I was the only person who scheduled a sunset tour that day, I had a private tour. The stunning monasteries of Meteora are best photographed from specific locations that the guides know well. Since they grew up there, they also know the places that tourists rarely visit. In their 4x4, we visited monasteries built into caves that are quite stunning and tour buses can never reach, so the typical tourist never gets a chance to see them. We stopped at 10-15 different locations over 4 hours to get photos of the monasteries and cliffs during the golden hour then we finished our tour photographing the sunset high atop a rock overlooking the valley as the sun descended behind the mountains. It was beautiful. Now my only problem is figuring out which pictures to hang on my wall! In addition to this, they brought snacks and a gift for me. Christos and Konstantina were extremely kind and hospitable. Christos is a skilled photographer and can give tips along the way. He also had a tripod for me to use at sunset, which was a great help as the sun went down. I cannot recommend this tour enough. It is one of the best experiences I have had while in Greece!

I do not even know where to begin! This was the best experience. I am so glad I found it online. I am into photography and am always looking for ways to improve. When I saw photos of Meteora on their site and social media I knew that this was the tour I wanted to go on. Also, I wanted to do a private tour, not part of a huge bus of tourists, which there are many of. From our online initial communication Konstantina answered all my questions and was very timely. She picked me up from the train station and they had a great itinerary for me. Christos is extremely knowledgeable with photography and we did get the best photos while I learned new tips and tricks. They are both from the area so they know it inside and out, as well as surrounding areas. But this wasn't the best part...the best part are the people that they are! They are very easy going and passionate. I felt so comfortable with them, like I had know them for years. I made incredible friends and had authentic Greek experiences from the hidden spots that we visited, the knowledge that they gave me and the restaurants we visited. I love my photos and the special time I spent here with them. I even extended my stay! If you are into photography...or not and just want to experience the best of Meteora book with them. You will be so glad you did! i will never forget this time that I spent in Meteora with them!

I only had one day to spend in Meteora, although it surely deserves more. I contacted Meteora Photo Tour by email. They were prompt and professional and asked me what I wanted to see so they could tailor the tour to my needs. It turns out they are a really nice couple, Konstantina and Kristos. Konstantina runs the business and Kristos is an excellent photographer. They know all the places to take great shots and when. Kristis gave me lots of good photo composition tips. It was excellent. Now I have too many good photos. We even had a flat tire, but Konstantina's brother Bill was right there to rescue us. It is like having a big Greek family right in town!

I just brought my old Iphone6 model on this photography tour and DAMN, I learnt so much I didn't know before about my camera and tips on taking breathtaking photos! Honestly, this was the best tour I took on this trip and I really hope everyone considers this tour if you want the perfect shot of Meteora. Christos was not only a fabulous guide but an excellent teacher of photography. I've taken 3 tours in 1.5 days and this tour was stunning and worth every penny!!!!!!!!!!! Since this was a photography tour, did my photos turn out good? My photos were on fire!!! I got so many compliments on Facebook for the photos that Christos taught me to take. I made my friends jealous - mission accomplished!

We were on a week long photo tour of Meteora and the Zagori region of northern Greece. Our group consisted of 4 people, with varying levels of photography experience (novice to expert). Christos and Konstantina could not have been more warm, welcoming and helpful! Christos was able to provide instruction to all of us as needed, along with taking us to spectacular locations within the Meteora and Zagori regions. As the novice in the group, I was able to become a much better photographer, and have a greater understanding of photography overall thru his instruction. They accommodated every request, including 3 occasions of astrophotography, and a beautiful hike in Meteora. Christos and Konstantina provided exceptional customer service, even picking us up at our hotel in Athens! During our drives to various spectacular photo locations, Konstantina provided us with information to the history and background of each location/area. The hotels and restaurants that were chosen by Konstantina and Christos were wonderful. Each clearly chosen with loving care. Not only did we have an incredible photographic experience, I feel that Christos and Konstantina also gave me a personal glimpse of life in northern Greece. I cannot imagine a better experience. The trip exceeded my expectations in every way.

This was the best photo tour company. Christos and Konstantina picked us up at our hotel for a sunset tour, drove us all over for stunning photos. They are quite the team - Konstantina provided historical commentary, and Christos taught me great tips on how to be a better photographer. He taught me the best settings for landscape and how to balance the light, and brought us to the BEST SPOTS EVER for photos! And Konstantina was simply amazing with my 14 year old son, who had quickly bored of taking photos. They provided us water and snacks throughout the tour.

Then I lost my iphone. I left it in a monastery which closed. BUT... Christos called his cousin who knew one of the monks, got a message through and located my phone. He drove us back to it, then still managed to finish up with our amazing tour! They went out of their way to make it wonderful for us and help us. They are simply the best people as well as the perfect photography tour team. Don't choose anyone else - this is it.

My college-student daughter and I took this tour. She is a beginner photographer, and I went along with just the camera on my phone. We had a great time. Christos and Konstantina were wonderful--very good company. We booked the tour by email, and got a prompt response. Christos and Konstantina picked us up at our hotel and brought us all over the Meteora for several hours before and after sunset. They know where to get the best shots--places that it would not be easy to find on your own. They brought us snacks and water, and a tripod (ask for one when you book). Christos was very patient with my daughter and helped her to use the settings on her camera. She got some amazing photos! And the photos I took with my iPhone are also amazing. Christos took some wonderful shots of my daughter and me together with his camera and later sent them to us (really appreciate that!). Konstantina and Christos grew up in the area told us quite a bit about the local history and life in Greece today. They told us they tailor each tour--you can walk a little or a lot, go inside a monastery or not, take different types of pictures. When the tour starts, they ask what you are looking for, and give you some choices bout where to do and what to do. This is definitely worth it--we were in Greece two weeks and did tons of things, and this was one of our absolute favorites!
