A fantastic visit to this wonderful house. My wife and I, with friends visited Maison Penet as part of a full day tour and we were pleasantly surprised. The welcome we received was very polite and received a fabulous tour and tasting.
The wines are fantastic (we bought a few) and they are (understandably) more expensive than the normal.
A must visit if in the area.

Where to begin... This was part of a 3 champagne house small group tour by O Château out of Paris. Our visit to Maison Penet is one of my all time favorite travel experiences. We learned a lot about the process of making champagne. Our tasting(s) occurred over lunch in the winemaker's home. Words cannot describe how delightful this was! We enjoyed the champagne, the food & the company. If you are touring the region, La Maison Penet is a must!

To be able to visit and to taste the excellent champagne here was a perfect end to our visit in the town of Verzy. Informative guide and lovely surroundings. And of course very nice champagne in one of the best Grand Cru villages.

Champagne tour and tasting was nice, but lunch provided was awful. Suggest they try a simpler lunch and focus on their champagne. Pricing on champagne was higher than expected. Guide was well educated and made it a fun experience, despite the lunch!

I apologize again for the problem you had encountered.
The meal is not made by La Maison Penet but by external service providers and unfortunately I was a victim of the holidays in France.

I had the opportunity to visit La Maison Penet as part of a 3 champagne house tour by O Chateau while in Paris. I can truly say of the 3 houses we visited this was far and away the best. Alexandre and Martine were exceptional hosts. Alexandre was very knowledgeable and his passion for champagne was evident. We learned a lot about the champagne making process and the importance of terroir. The tour included a fabulous lunch with 3 champagne tastings. It was an eye-opening experience to taste the various champagnes and being able to distinguish the different levels of flavors and nuances of each. We tasted two of their Penet-Chardonnet Grand Cru champagnes and one Alexandre Penet.
I would highly recommend visiting this champagne house if you have the opportunity to do so while in France. Try to take a tour that includes lunch. You will not be disappointed.

I visited La Maison Penet as part of a tour group in May. I had emailed previous to my trip, that even though not part of the tour, a dream of mine was to saber a champagne bottle. The hosts were so gracious as to allow me to saber and it most definitely was a highlight of my entire trip. They indulged our group with one of the most delicious lunches following a very informative and insanely delicious toiur.

We happened to pass by and had no booking. We got a fantastic welcome and could enjoy the beatiful champagne of the house outside in the yard. Amazing treatment and a very good wine. Thank you!!!

Great tasting in the most adorable courtyard along the champagne route from Reims to Epernay. The men working were very welcoming and friendly. And their mascot, Carrot the cat, was an adorable surprise.

We stumbled upon this place whilst driving around and thought we would ask for a tasting. The staff were more then happy to accommodate and were so knowledgeable about their products. I would highly recommend a visit.

We go to to the Champagne region twice a year to buy, but this trip was also to celebrate three birthdays so I searched for a unique experience. La Maison Penet did not disappoint. It was also the first tour that took us out into the vines and served delicious lunch in their beautiful house. The champagne they create is unique and the service of the overall experience exceptional. Thank you again for a wonderful celebration (and prices for our purchases to take home).
