Maria was a brilliant guide, explaining everything clearly, and making things seem fresh and interesting. The bodega is also impressive architecture too, and the 2 wines tasted at the end were very enjoyable. Perhaps a little long at close to 90 minutes (inc 10 minutes wait for late arrivers).

So disappointed that having booked a tour at 10am in 23 September the gates were closed and no one answered the intercom! We were so looking forward to the tour and had travelled all the way from England for it!

Dear Keith, We are so sorry to read your words, because there is an explanation for this. That day the winery was closed because there was a local festive in Laguardia, this is why we told you in the email that the visit was in Bodegas Faustino, and as you didn't say anything, we were expecting you in Bodegas Faustino.... I was back in Rioja country. This being my first winery of the day. In fact the tour was longer than what I had planned for and I had to leave before tasting the wine. I couldn't drink as I was driving anyway.

Our english speaking tour guide was great. She was very knowledgeable and it was fabulous to see the wine-making process from beginning to end. The most impressive part is seeing all the Rjoja wine being stored in bottles and aging. We really enjoyed our tour.

We were so disappointed that having specially chosen this bodegas in Laguardia and reserved a visit in English at 10am by e mail more than a week in advance and indeed had this confirmed, when we arrived the gates were shut and no one was answering the bell/intercom- we waited for half an hour and still no one came. We had a guided tour at 10 am. We were only two of us so we got an excellent vip tour from a very nice and clever guide.

We did a wine tour here during our trip to Laguardia. The tour was well arranged and it was great to see the whole process from the grape on the vinyard to the finished bottle. Very impressive barrel and bottle storage rooms. Would definitely recommend it.

We had a great introduction to Campillo with details about the history and winery from grape to production. The extensive tasting and ability to taste additional wines in the wine bar was a good opportunity.
