Rustic grounds at sanctuary

We spent most of the day in Petra walking around the little streets and taking photos. We drove up here to enjoy the grounds and the view. The drive is a little intimidating when one meets another car coming in the opposite direction. There is parking at the top in front of the sanctuary. The grounds are simple with very rustic stone tables and benches. The view to the valley below is picture perfect! There are many beautiful photo ops. Some horses and riders came while we were there. There was a restroom available but no other services. We stayed about 30 minutes or so. It was very peaceful.
