It's pricey but those back nine holes just about make up for it

It has taken me five years to play Son Termens. In 2012 I flew out and Iberian Airways managed to leave all my clothes and golf clubs in Madrid for three days and I was only reunited with them on the day I was to fly home. So it was good to be back, not looking like a tramp, and... More

Great mountain course with spectacular views. Few really short Par 4's, when you can take a risk and hit the green. One negative thing was the yellow tee box in hole number 12. There were no grass left and the surface was so hard that you couldn't put the tee on the ground.

First impression that i got was that the maintenance was not to good, everything was a little bit old. Balls on the driving range, golf carts. The prices where pretty high anyway, we payed 85/per and that was cheaper than normal, than you had to pay 45/ euros extra if you wanted a cart. We walked one day 18 holes... More

I've read a few reviews of this course now and I suppose I need to take a little bit from a lot of them. Some simply do not tally with my experience, but let me offer a couple of bits of context: first, I was quite hungover. Secondly, I was on my own (billy-no-mates here was the only one keen... More

Small welcoming club house. Front 9 very tight, in fact sometimes dangerously tight. Strange mix of holes with 2 par 5's back to back. From hole 10 you are in for a real treat. Some awesome looking holes. Definitely need a buggy unless your mum was a mountain goat. Still waiting for a ruling on how to play from the... More

Very warm welcome from everyone at the course, including the goats!! Club rental was reasonable as too was the cart and range balls. Would advise a cart if your playing the full whack as the back nine is a little bit "hilly". The course has a special character and great views which warrants making the trip. Really enjoyed the round... More

the first couple of holes on this course which used to be a 9 hole course in the beginning are narrow and nothing special … the real play starts at 4 with a long par 4 , followed by 2 par 5's … the real beauty on this course are the back 9 up in the high valley with wonderful... More

I really enjoyed this course. It was a bit tight with a few rock hazards around the fairways and the greens weren't bad. The views were great but what normally comes with great views is great hills and Son Termens is no exception. You need a buggy for 18 holes but they charge you €40 to rent one. It's apparently... Excellent course, quite hilly and plenty of blind shots. Greens in very good condition. The course had goats wandering around which were beautiful and did not have bells round their necks like at some courses. Good idea to take a buggy as some long walks between greens and tees.

We had this course to ourselves when we played on a Sunday afternoon in March 2015. Why would that be? The weather was not that bad on the day and other courses on the island were fully booked. So, why were golfers not teeing up ? I think three factors might be involved, in descending order of importance: 1) A... More
