The area
Neighbourhood: Shinagawa / Gotanda
In Shinagawa, an office district shares space with luxury residential buildings and the scene is constantly changing with rapid development. Ikedayama park and Togoshi park are great places to see beautiful traditional Japanese gardens with ponds, as well as enjoy the changing seasons. Shinagawa was a post and a port town during the Edo era and the lavish old Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples at Shinagawa and Ebara are very popular. It's a great place to get in touch with the old Edo atmosphere on a pleasure boat cruising along the canal. The neighboring area around Gotanda station is a study in modern contrasts filled with unique restaurants and a lively nightlife.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I took a high-speed train from the bus stop closest to my home to Haneda Airport. When getting on the train, a message is announced that there will be a slight delay due to traffic congestion. However, we kept in touch and didn't have to go downhill, and on Sundays, we were able to get there in 95 minutes instead of 70 minutes. It's a weekday morning, so it's quite acceptable.

I got off at Haneda Airport before 6 p.m. on weekday evenings. There were some slow runs in Tokyo, but it was almost smooth, and I arrived at the nearest bus stop on time. I was worried about going back, as I went through the Aqualine, which is opposite the Ariake area due to the traffic accident, but it was a comfortable drive and I was relieved.

The worst!! I complained, but the middle-aged driver had an extremely rude attitude. I can't believe he can be a driver who also picks up foreigners like that.
No matter what I asked, he just said "No way!" But in the end, doesn't he run between Haneda 1st and 2nd International? He didn't even tell me that. Unfriendly. People should be cautious when riding. Honestly, I don't even want to give him one star!!!

Bus was not crowded, and got us to our destination fairly quickly. Fare from railway station to Marina City was a mere 260 yen.

My sister and I, in our 70's, arrive at Haneda Airport and want to catch the bus to Yokohama Royal Park Hotel. Do we need to book or can we get tickets when we get off the plane?? Also, where do we catch the bus?? Is it far to walk with our luggage from Terminal 1 ?? Sorry for all the questions but we need to know what to do to catch the bus. Thanking you.
