Plenty of restaurants, many shops and entertainment. Prices believe to be cheaper than those in Shinjuku

One of favorite districts in Tokyo was Ueno, we went on a Saturday and it was buzzing. The markets under the railway lines were fab, sold everything and anything, fresh product, cosmetics, jewellery, clothes etc. Ueno Park is worth a visit too, very pretty.
