People use Ikefukuro statute as a meeting point. But I still feel it easier to meet at a specific exit/entrance of railway/subway station in Ikebukuro.

A little difficult to find and always had people gathered around. An interesting attraction to say that you have seen though so if you are close by worth a quick look.

'Ikefukuro' seems to be a play on words. Fukurou means owls, and the statue is places just outside of the North exit gatses of the Ikebukuro station. It is a popular meeting place, just as the Hachiko statue is for Shibuya station, but less crowded....More

Used as a meeting point as like the Hachiko statue in Shibuya. Easy to spot as you would usually see a few people already crowded around the statue.
