Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I don't remember seeing any English but entrance is free and the picture exhibits are interesting to see, even for a non sumo fan like myself and considering its the native national sport.

The shop is also worth a visit - fan or not.

A free museum with illustrations/photographs chronicling the history of sumo wrestling. Not all that interactive but interesting to look at the photos and artifacts. Its very close t one of the beyas (sumo stables) and we saw a few wrestlers coming out of their morning practice as we were exiting the museum.

If you wonder about the attraction of Sumo wrestling, go with a Japanese friend to visit this museum. It only takes a short time to view the photos in one room, and get an idea about this traditional Japanese sport. Interestingly, in recent years the top wrestler have been from Hawaii, and Mongolia.
