こちらは、三ツ目通り石原三丁目交差点近くにひっそりと説明版があります。
新潟県人で、近くのメッキ工場で働き始め16歳の時に作った回覧誌「青年文壇」で短歌に出会ったそうです。
米吉は結核等の病いや貧しさと戦いながら、異色ではありましたが鋭く研ぎ澄まされた労働歌を次々と紡ぎだしており、24歳を目前にして没したそうです。

ここは三ツ目通りと言う超広く交通量の激しく多い幹線道路の歩道であり、間違っても住宅街の中の見つけにくい場所では無い。テキトー過ぎるホラレビューに思わず笑ってしまった。看板が一枚建ってるだけ、ワザワザ訪ねて来る場所では無い

松倉米吉住居跡はJR総武線両国駅と錦糸町駅の中間やや北側の住宅街の中に案内板がたっていました。松倉米吉は明治から大正時代にかけて活躍した歌人でしたが、わずか24で病死してしまうという不運な人生だったそうです。
