Random walking around this district at night is amazing. Don’t miss the small side street near Shinjuku Omoide Yoko-cho. Lots of cozy colorful 4-6 bar stool restaurants.

All you have to do is walk around these streets and you will see what this place is about. Bright lights everywhere, clubs, restaurants, "other" entertainment and just a good place to people-watch.

This area is entertainment and nightlife attractions with bars and restaurants lined up in many streets. It is situated at east of Shinjuku Rail station. It is fun walking there in the evening with glittering neon lights and crowds of people in bars and restaurants.

Just an interesting area to walk around and see what's on offer. The amount of lighting is incredible. Robot Restaurant was difficult to find. Saw lots of signs pointing to it, but they seemed to take us in circles.

Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and
contains the busiest train station in the world. To
the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo
Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the
east, there’s a district with long-established
department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku
Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the
Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for
