Tokyo tower is landmark or icon in Tokyo. It is symbol of piece and was build after world war. You can go up to tower or just enjoying shopping and learning at the downfloor. It's very recommended to study history

We had an awesome view of the Tokyo Tower. It was beautiful, not as beautiful as the Eiffel but beautiful none the less.

Take the elevator up and enjoy a great view of Tokyo. East access and a short walk from train station.

I have seen Tokyo Tower many times, the first being in 1992. After Snoopy Museum, I decided to walk down memory lane. It is still spectacularly & iconic. What caught my eye this time was the lighted St Andrew's Church opposite.......

Food Tour at Shibuya The tour that we chose was this one because we read so many great reviews and they were very right! 5 Food stops of great flavors and variety was absolutely amazing! We loved how everything was explained to us, the manners, history of food and where the food comes from were information we couldn’t have found... More

Off the bat: Tokyo tower is cheaper than the Eiffel Tower, has better views, is less crowded and has more to do. It's ¥900 for an adult to get in (about £6). That gets you half way. Usually the special observatory, right at the top, is open but it's closed until Summer 2017 for renovations. This will sound quite stupid,... More

A bit expensive, nice view. Not totally my thing to do in general so maybe this is unfair. It is pretty.

Really enjoyed coming here on a clear day. No line at all we got here about 10am on a Saturday. Stayed here maybe 30 minutes There is a gift shop but it's pricy for rather cheesy type souvenirs.

Staying in Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi

Neighbourhood Profile
Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much older commercial buildings and it's a great place to join 'salary men' enjoying a drink and snacks at street stalls under the railway bridges after work.
