This is a handy way to get to Haneda Airport. Take the Yamanote Line to Hamamatsucho Station to Board the monorail. You'll be there in fewer than 30 minutes

There is nothing wrong with this service. It is very clean and efficient. However, it doesn't really go anywhere of interest and as such it is really not worth going out of your way to use it unless it visits somewhere you really want to...More

Piece of cake to get to the airport. It's cheap as well however, if you use your Suica card to Haneda there's nowhere to cash it in. Oh, well, just have to come back!

The Tokyo monorail runs from Haneda airport to Hamamatsucho across two different lines. This then links you to most parts of Tokyo. The service is frequent and efficient. It is included in the JR pass which is also a bonus.

The monorail runs quickly on elevated rails along the southern waterfront. There are nice views from the train. The monorail requires a separate ticket from the Tokyo subway.

A great way to get close to central Tokyo from Haneda. Take the monorail and then pay much less for a cab on the final journey to your hotel.

Ideal if the the line is convenient for your hotel. Its not quite the floating train you might expect.

We used the monorail to get from our hotel area to the airport. It was a bit crowded and we had suitcases but the Japanese people are so obliging. It was an interesting ride.

Keep in mind that others want to see from the front too so sometimes it's really crowded in the first carriage. It's quite beautiful though, watching the train zoom by without anything blocking you, so it's a must do when in Tokyo.

Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris
wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of
shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a
hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is
very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has
ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find
restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The
