Was here for an official function. Great venue for entertainment, dining, outdoors, and official gathering. Like most places in Japan, impeccable standards and a grand heritage.

This place can be said to be very representative like those who want to carry out a variety of activities, because it has a variety of facilities for things like that. The place is also known as the Hall's first comprehensive wedding in Japan. So spacious and comfortable place in the city center of Tokyo is often used also a... More

I visited in February and I only wish it was April. The gardens I expect are particularly beautiful in Spring. There was a traditional wedding ceremony going on during my visit which was fascinating to watch. Really enjoyed the visit and the walk through the gardens up to the crystal clear well.

Went there with my teenage girl and she was amazed by the flourishing green nature, and the contrast having zigzagged between people outside Harajuku station literally two minutes before. After the ceremonial washing, we followed a wedding procession (there's always one starting/ongoing/finishing), bought a poem and paid our respects. Take your time to read the wooden notes of good luck... More

Lovely spot which tales you away from the hustle and bustle which is Tokyo. Highly recommend. Saw 4 weddings hitch was a novelty.

We went there for a wedding. What beautiful gardens! The place was so jacked for tailored wedding service. Fabulous food and presentation. Meiji Kinenkan does the videos, the shrine visit and even have a personal assistant for the bride to handle the kimono/hair/schedule etc. The shrine ceremony is very serious and only families are allowed to attend (plus no photos).... Staying in Yotsuya / Iidabashi

Neighbourhood Profile
Yotsuya / Iidabashi
Yotsuya and Iidabashi are areas that developed around the outer moat of the Imperial palace. Nearby in Kagurazaka, there is an old red-light district with a photogenic feel evocative of the ambiance of old Tokyo. Narrow paths with stone paving remain to this day, and there are long-standing restaurants with geishas and quaint old cafes in townhouse buildings.
