The free-admission exhibits are entertaining for all ages and informative about surviving Tokyo’s next (inevitable) big earthquake. Visitors might want to reward the exhibit by spending some money in the first floor “Rescue” shop, but “Rescue” is different and dishonest. They sell long-storage survival food and disaster gear, including a private-label shoe, supposedly water resistant and good for rough terrain.... More

The Rinkai Disaster Prevention Park has an experience-learning facility where you can learn how to survive an earthquake. Very useful info to everybody (locals and tourists alike)! Everyone gets their own portable tablet where you can answer quiz questions related to surviving an earthquake (what to do and what not to do if an earthquake strikes). You can choose the... More
