Here is the famous place to look at purple Japanese wisteria flowers from end of April to early on May in the capital place. It takes about 20 minutes from Tokyo Sky Tree on foot.

This temple/park was so beautifully peaceful, truly breathtaking. Even though it was crowded w/a lot of people. I felt at peace. I wouldn't miss it if I were you.

when in Tokyo during wisteria season, this place is a must to visit. The overwhelming, beautiful smell of the flowers and the gorgeous flowers everywhere are something to experience. The shrine is pretty as well.

A famous shrine for its wisteria. During the season, it is one of the crowded place in Tokyo. It is located just behind Funabashiya, a famous shop for Kuzumochi (a type of wagashi).
