Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I did the Hanko making activity. The staff were very friendly, professional and helpful. The booking was so easy. The activity was so much fun and informative.
I recommend this place to anyone who visits Tokyo and wants to try something cultural but fun.

Booking this experience was easy. I just sent an inquiry via the Information Center's website about the excursion I was interested in as well as the date and time I would like to do it, and the whole thing was solidified within 36 hours.

I was the first customer who wanted to make aroma stone keychains ever since the Nihonbashi Information Center and the Made in Nihonbashi crafts space initiated their partnership, and everyone was working hard to make it a success! My translator guide, Audrey, was kind and funny, both with me and the professionals that hosted the activity. I had a lot of questions and interest in the activity itself and in Made in Nihonbashi as a company. She conveyed everything clearly and satisfied my curiosity, even though it made us all stay past the one-hour timespan.

The MIN professionals were excited to meet me and share their artistry. I greatly enjoyed learning about the traditional history behind the aroma stone as well as the effort MIN put into turning the time-honoured craft into something a foreigner could enjoy in a shorter amount of time. It's a very personalised activity, and they were willing and able to bring my own creativity to life. I am deeply grateful for their flexibility and expertise - as well as their patience.

We got a tour of their manufacturing room and the kinds of crafts they produce, and I investigated every square centimetre of that place. Many of the things we saw were previews for future activities or things they currently have for sale! You can check out their instagram @made_in_nihonbashi to see more.

After the tour, Audrey even walked me directly to the next thing in the neighbourhood I wanted to see next! Door to door service, y'all.

If the other activities at Omotenashi Nihonbashi are anything like this one, then you NEED to book something with them as part of your vacation to Japan. These experiences promise quality, professionalism, and tradition. The international staff are courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable about the area. Nihonbashi, as a neighbourhood, is low on tourists, very walkable, and very trendy. All in all, cannot go wrong with a visit.

I really enjoyed the Japan Gourmet Tour experience. I had the chance to learn more about the Japanese traditional food and his history and I could appreciate some tastes I wasn't familiar with. In addition, I'd like to thanks the two lovely girls who guided us inside Coredo Muromachi. Prepared, kind and entertaining.

We took the Gourmet Tour. Both guides (Megan and Rose) were very friendly, had a lot of interesting information and answered all our questions. This is a good tour that gives a tasting of a variety of different types of food that some may not have even thought to try.

We went on the food tour with Megan as our guide and had a great time. The samples were delicious and the goodies you get are definitely worth the price! We also learned a lot along the way and found some other fun activities and shops in the area. A great experience with a great guide!

I scheduled all my activities with Omotenashi Nihonbashi for the same day (Thursday, and I was the only participant for but the last). To start with, all of the guides I had for the day were wonderful, and some very good English. They guided me to the later (off-site) classes, and stayed to translate what the instructors were saying.
The origami workshop was wonderful, with clear instructions. Despite a few mistakes, we were able to complete all five of the designs within the hour.
The gourmet tour was very interesting, and having a translation/explanation of what the food was and how it was made was very helpful. Not many places in Tokyo seem to offer that, which can make trying new food somewhat intimidating.
The Kiriko class was a lot of fun, though there was not so much time for explanations/history. It was very much a “learn about it by doing” exercise.
Finally, the Washi paper making was possibly the most difficult activity. The instructor was very good, and “guided” the children that were participating. I highly recommend asking about the museum/presentation before the class, because it gives more history and detail on the art.
