Running around the palace is a super nice experience. You get to see the old and the new of Tokyo. If you have time, walk inside the palace to make a visit tour.

This is the bridge in the foreground of virtually every picture of the Imperial palace, to find it leave Tokyo Main Station walk forward till you read the moat and go left and follow the water round

Bridge to the Imperial Palace which you can't across. But lots of history here. Very popular tourist attraction, which means selfie glory!

Imperial palace used to be Edo castle where Shogun was living. There are two layer of moats then this is the bridge over the inside moat. You can feel how the ca sstle was big.

For such an iconic view, one could predict the busloads of tourists, all with cameras, smartphones and selfie sticks in hand. But being patient eventually pays off. Although the view of the palace itself is interesting, the fences are remarkable.

The bridge is nothing special but you can catch a glimpse of the palace from the bridge and take some photos.

Two-tiered Bridge (Ni-ju Bashi) have nice view and good options for pictures. You will get the imperial palace as a background and the guards .
