Neighbourhood: Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi
Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's also a downtown area with shops that were founded over a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza. It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll while the road is closed to traffic. Luxury hotels, world class cuisine from talented chefs, and a collection of glitzy clubs will make this area popular with anyone looking for a night out.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is the largest Muji in the world. A quaint building. Lots of eateries outside but we wanted something simple and decided on Muji cafe. Did not disappoint. Must try this place

I brought my mum here on the first day of our two week holiday so and we’ve already been back once and gone to another Muji elsewhere because she loves it so much. This is the flagship and so it’s the biggest store, but you don’t feel too overwhelmed by what’s available as everything is neatly arranged and spread out with plenty of space to wander around without it feeling crowded. Make sure you finish your shopping with a visit to their cafe. All their food is amazing but I would recommend their four cheese focaccia and their cream soda!

so so so love this place! It's very big and the prices are pretty affordable. I immediately went to the stationery area. A classic muji pen costs about ¥80 (around $1) Staff were very friendly and patient. Would go back here.

Muji (literally "unmarked" or "no name") sells attractive moderately priced merchandise with no name or logo visible and has grown in popularity over the years. Muji sells clothes, household items, writing supplies, and a few items of furniture, among other things. They have a bakery and a restaurant, too. It's kind of like IKEA but with clothing and without self-assembled furniture, and not so grandiose. Their flagship store in Yurakucho is more spacious than Muji's other stores but really does not have a better variety of merchandise. Still, it's a great experience. Muji is practically right next to Yurakucho Station and a short walk to Ginza, the Imperial Palace, and other favorite places to visit.

Impressive Muji store with unusual sections include Found Muji, a collection of art, and Muji Books. There is a cafe on floor 2. Love the layout with bookshelves in a meander pattern snaking near the ceiling.

My impression of Muji stores are generally very good. Friendly and helpful staff member are usually standard practices for Muji stores, but not this Muji store in Yurakucho. Staff members were not active in greeting the customers. My husband tried on a jacket, but decided not to buy it. In our past experiences with Muji, the staff member would say "you can pass on what you don't need to me" However in this case, my husband had to ask ( in Japanese) the staff near the fitting room first about where he can put the coat. He got a sneer with no reply. We were not sure what we did to deserve this. Also, in the cashier area, the staff seemed under trained, lack standard of practice we usually experienced in a Muji store.

Good gracious I can't get enough of the clean lines, classic clothing and natural aesthetics of this place. I enjoyed hanging out in the flagship store. It definitely was the biggest one I've seen. The also have a place to rent bikes and a cafe.
