Entrance is free. Many beautiful spots. Near Nippon Budo-kan, a gorgeous landmark where traditional martial arts contests are held as well as concerts. Eric Clapton played here.

Huge park surrounded by canal where you can rent canoes. Take subway and get off kudanshita station, park is just outside the plateform, actually in the same area you can see also Yasakuni shrine, connected by an over pass. One of the best background to...More

The park itself is not as well tended as the neighboring East Gardens, but it is peaceful. The grass area has taken a beating over the years. There is an inexpensive cafe on the grounds that is warm and clean with friendly staff. The menu...More

Budokan and Science and Technology Museum are in this park. At the season of Cherry Blossoms, this place becomes special. It has some historical significance as a part of Edo Castle. If you visit this place otherwise, I'm afraid you find just a big green...More

This is a large park that is essentially part of the Imperial Palace area and is well worth a visit. It is very well maintained and a great expanse of green in the middle of Tokyo.

Yotsuya / Iidabashi
Yotsuya and Iidabashi are areas that developed around
the outer moat of the Imperial palace. Nearby in
Kagurazaka, there is an old red-light district with a
photogenic feel evocative of the ambiance of old
Tokyo. Narrow paths with stone paving remain to this
day, and there are long-standing restaurants with
geishas and quaint old cafes in townhouse buildings.
