A nice area with a few upscale restaurants, I have only been in this area at night. The lights are gorgeous and the neighborhood is very quiet and relaxing. There isn't exactly a ton to do but it feels really safe and peaceful for a...More

I would go here solely for the architecture - which I also did. The old buildings are right in front of the skyscrapers which puts everything in perspective.

We stayed the last days of our tour in Maranouchi. The place looks like a little bit of New York with great restaurants and the Tokyo station.

Nice place for a walk near Tokyo station, but doesn't compare well to other places around the City. Lots of restaurants and karaoke places to visit.

Located right in the center of Tokyo, Marunouchi is home to many of Japan's largest corporations. This is a good place to visit if interested in modern architecture.

Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi
Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's
also a downtown area with shops that were founded over
a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury
boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza.
It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll
while the road is closed to traffic. Luxury hotels,
world class cuisine from talented chefs, and a
collection of glitzy clubs will make this area popular
