An absolutely amazing array of textiles, buttons, & everything for sewing & crafting. When we went the street was fairly quiet & easy to walk down. Some shops were busy but not crowded. The street starts just outside the Nippori train station.

Excellent place for great bargain shopping, more fabric stores in this area than can be counted. Every quilter should visit if they are in Tokyo.

Virtually no English is spoken. If the fabric was bought in Nippori maybe they can help, but I am doubtful. They might be able to steer you towards something similar.
