A gorgeous outlook and a sumptuous wine tasting experience. The insight of one of the wine making family, Loretta, was especially rewarding.

Lovely view but wines were not for us. Wines are very expensive and the tasting process was a bit technical and lacked warmth.

A total standout from the wineries we visited today, and we were really impressed with Anna’s tasting style which was informal, informative and inclusive. We tasted so many wines, but their real passion is in the Pinot and it shows. A true knowledge of Pinot is not required here, you’ll be walked through the nuances of particular clones and blending styles and if you’re a true Pinot lover you’ll find it hard to choose what one/s to take home! HIGHLY recommend. Oh, and the best views in the region.

The cellar door is a spectacular setting but the wines are the star. I love chardonnay, Pinot noir and champagne do I was well carers for. The sparkling ( we are not allowed to call them champagne) are amazing. I actually think they are better that Arras ( the generally accepted benchmark for top Australian sparkling). And you can drive there and combine it with a great long weekend ( or week) of touring this great area. There are other good wineries in the area but this is my #1.

Hard to get to due to the winding, uneven road filled with obvious and hidden potholes, so glad we have a 4WD - even that, it is a bit of a challenge. Once we reached the destination, the wines are certainly worth it. The winery focused on small selection but good at what they do.
