I came here last week and I definitely loved it. Even though it was a bit crowded, the swimming pools are amazing, the water (from the sea and really clean by the way) is not so cold as the sea and you can enjoy the...More

It is obvious for the title that I am an architect, but I want to seduce to get to know and respect the place by other non-architect people: Just think about bathing into this part of the ocean without -so much- danger and kind of...More

I've found our success rate of finding places we really like is very hit & miss thus far in Portugal. Pleased to say we were delighted here. Hope we make it back during our stay.

The pools are now open for the season. Personally, I wouldn't bother. These are sea water, tidal swimming pools on a reasonably exposed part of the Atlantic coastline. Thus you need a very hot day to appreciate them. There are two pools in typical "municipal"...More

Two tourist offices had recommended to me this place both stating that even if it was closed, it was worthwhile seeing from an architectural point of view. When I finally found the pool I was happy to see that there was a sign stating "Bar...More

Looks OK and a great place to swim if you do not want to swim in the sea, but we went in March and it was empty of water. we will be back in June and give it a try.

This place comes up as one of the top attractions around Porto, and although the design is nice, there's really little point in going. It is basically a fenced off part of the beach, with one adult and one kids pool (looking badly in need...More

Lovely swimming pools with nice places to sit amongst the rocks and on the shore, the water is cold though! Don't chance the coffee - it's terrible.

Hello. This pool is empty during winter and it's really not interesting to see it as it is but the area is still very beautiful. There is another building designed by Siza (casa de chá) and the lighthouse!
