Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I spent a couple of hours walking along the coast from the Piscinas de Mares until this beautiful spot. Nice walk with a beautiful view of the sea and Boa Nova view point. There’s also a walkway alongside the sea. You can easily spend a lot of time enjoying all the beaches.

This tall and slender lighthouse stands on the promentary off the Avenida da Liberdade in Matosinhos, near Porto and is worth having a walk around. Great stroll and a February day in the winter sunshine.

On our September visit to Oporto, we toured several lighthouses in the area, and the northern most was the Farol de Leça – the Lighthouse at Leça.
Unlike it’s counterparts, a bit to the south, the Farol de Leça is a spindly structure, but unlike many, it was built in the 1920's, and began operation in 1926.
We did not get to tour the actual lighthouse, as it is surrounded by the operational and support buildings, but just gazing up at this 140' structure was impressive, and especially as it has been in service for almost 100 years. Obviously, the more modern construction techniques allowed for a more “delicate” structure, so it visually stands out from all of the rest of the much older lighthouses, which we visited.
Definitely a must see, if one has any interest in lighthouses, and maritime structures, and especially in Portugal, a “sea faring” country. This structure is impressive.

Bom dia
é possivel fazer uma visita durante a noite?
cumprimentos

Não tendo informação oficial, penso que de noite e estando o farol a funcionar não é possivel visitar, até porque a forte luz iria cegar quem lá fosse ao alto e seria extremamente periogoso
