The bar was finally shut down thanks to the complete lack of customers. Last week it reopened as a resto under a different name without a pool table and even less guest. The place now is as comfortable as a dentists waiting room with a band singing in front of hardly anybody. I give max. 6 months.

Finally the place closed down. What a shame that the pool table is not available any more. Maybe some brave guy tries to reopen it.

If u r a bar fly wanting to sit and watch the world pass by this is ok. It is not a place just to sit and relax as the day goes on the British get drinker and louder.

The name has changed but atmosphere and service is still great.Pool tournaments are fun and you can watch any sport on their massive tv with commentary if you request.

If you like to be alone, that's the place to be. I have never seen more than max. 10 people in there. The staff is very friendly because they have nothing else to do. Certainly not the place to eat but if you want to play pool, you should go there but bring your partner, otherwise you might have to play against yourself.

Haha, just a dig at the poms (I am Australian), seriously, it's a good pub. The staff are excellent, very hard not to like them. It's just changing owners, also British. The name wil apparently change to the Sabang Sports Bar. Many flat screens added this week. There is a good pool table at the back of the bar, much seating with option to sit at the front and watch the streetlife go by. I had a bacon and egg roll, very good and well priced. Very cold beer. Went for one, got drunk. Says it all really.

Fantastic bar with brilliant staff especially ELSIE and the girls excellent beer, food, pool table and music all in all a great boozer see you all at Christmas. Mark and Tom England!

VSB Pub is situated right at a T intersection in Sabang. It is an amazing place to sit and watch the Filipino street life. Pedestrians, jeepneys, trikes , bikes and venders all merge in this corner.
With its bar seating overlooking the street you can literally reach out and touch a jeepney as it goes by. Neil & Lhen (the owners) Jeff the manger and all the waitress are eager to serve you. You won't be waiting long for a beer here.
There is not a seat in the house (including the CR) where you cannot see a TV to catch all the latest and greatest in sporting events from around the world.
There is a pool table in back near the kitchen that pumps out Western style food.
Frequently Neil will bring in a band. I have not seen a bad group here yet. Check with him for who and when they will be playing.
Check it out VSB. I think you will like it.
